The Morality and Social Cognition lab investigates the social and cognitive processes that underlie moral judgment. Our work explores how people make inferences about others' minds, how these inferences shape moral judgments, and how negative moral judgments like blame may differ from positive ones like praise. 	I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Macalester College. After a short stint as a Lecturer in the Cognitive Science Program at Yale University, I joined Macalester in Fall 2013. I received my Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2012 from Brown University, where I worked with Bertram Malle in the Social Cognitive Science lab. alisa khananashvili	research assistant
	I am a Psychology and French major from Glenview, Illinois. I am making an effort to integrate clinical experiences and research experiences while at Macalester in order to have a correct understanding of the diverse work that psychologists do. I hope to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology after graduating from Mac. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and discovering interesting places to check out in the Twin Cities!

	I am a senior Psychology major and French minor from Madison, Wisconsin. I currently have a wide range of academic interests, but I am most interested in pursuing a career as a child psychologist or as a mental health practitioner. I am also becoming more interested in the intersection of the mental health system and the criminal justice system. In my free time, I love to dance, run, and spend time with my friends and family.
